Feed My Starving Children

What a good looking group

81 boxes (over 17,000 meals) were measured, sealed, and packed in the Schaumburg facility during our shift. This will feed 48 kids for an entire year. Our boxes were sent to Haiti.

Our council does this once a quarter. It's a fantastic family activity. Have your kids invite a friend, so more people learn about the program.

Council 11091 Supports the Friends of the Poor walk

This is the ad we put in the "Friends of the Poor" book used at the charity walk. Numerous members of St. Margaret Mary Parish participated.

KC Altar Server Appreciation and Family Pool Party

The KC Altar Server Appreciation and Family Pool Party was held on July 22. Everyone had a great time. Fun, sun, and food, capped off with an amazing cannonball competition by the kids.

Here Piggy Piggy - Pig Roast and Parish Social

Over 150 delicious meals were served at the First Annual Here Piggy Piggy Pig Roast. The kids had a blast playing games. The water balloon toss was a big hit. We enjoyed excellent weather, too. Join us next year for the 2013 Pig Roast.

A Letter of Thanks

Dear Saint Margaret Mary Knights of Columbus:

I will be leaving Saint Margaret Mary School on June 8th. Before I left I had to
write to you.

I have never worked with a group of Knights like Saint Margaret Mary is blessed
to have. You support the church, school, and, most importantly, each other. Your
kindness and generosity is unbounded.

Our Knights have been very generous monetarily to the school. What would we do
without the storage building? But, you didn’t write a check and stop there. You
painted, cooked, moved bookcases, picnic tables etc, etc. I cannot begin to count
the times I have heard “ What can the Knights do for the school?”

I have lived and worked in several parishes in two states. . Never have I seen a
group like yours. I feel honored to have known you and blessed by the example you
set for all.

May God bless all of you. I will always remember your kindness and spirit.

KC Easter Season Family Mass

On May 20, Council 11091 held their Easter Season Mass. Brother Knights and families sat in a reserved section of the church. After Mass, the Knights provided refreshments. The weather could not have been better. Thanks to all who participated.
