Last Sunday our council hosted its latest blood drive. Thank you to all the Knights, friends, and family who donated blood and time to the event. It was nice to see some Knights bring their children to donate. You must be 17 to donate blood, or 16 with parental consent.

Special thanks to Fire Bar for giving a discount card to everyone who donated. You get to "Pick a pint" for just $1. What a deal!

Don't forget, each time you donate, you have a chance to win a door prize, and an additional chance to win the football signed by 7 of the Super Bowl Champion '85 Bears.

The next blood drive will be Sunday, June 16.

New Knight Sergio Contreras

Sergio Contreras - First Degree Knight

Sergio joined our council in the April 1st Degree event. He is the son-in-law of Kevin Wright, one of our own. It was nice to get to know Sergio a little after the ceremony. He is eager to get involved with our council.

Three other candidates from other councils also participated and became Knights in the First Degree.
